History of the ICENSS Series
International Conference on Energy Storage and Saving
The International Symposium on Energy Storage and Saving is the eponymous conference of Energy Storage and Saving, an academic journal sponsored by Xi'an Jiaotong University. It is strongly supported by the International Center for Heat and Mass Transfer, the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, the Key Laboratory of Thermal Energy and Power Technology, and the Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology.
Annually hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University, the symposium has successfully held four sessions since its inauguration in 2022. As a pivotal academic event in the fields of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, the International Symposium on Energy Storage and Saving (ICENSS) not only brings together top global scholars, engineering experts and industry pioneers, but also serves as a key driving force for advancing global energy storage and energy-saving technologies to new heights.
History of the IWHT Series
International Workshop on Heat/Mass Transfer Advances for Energy Conservation and Pollution Control (IWHT)

The International Workshop on Heat Transfer/Mass Transfer Advances in Energy Conservation and Pollution Control (IWHT) is a prominent international academic conference focusing on research related to heat and mass transfer in the fields of energy conservation and pollution control. Initiated by the Key Laboratory of Thermo-Fluid Science and Engineering of the Ministry of Education at Xi'an Jiaotong University, it serves as an international forum for exchanging cutting-edge heat transfer/mass transfer technologies and research achievements in the relevant areas of energy conservation and pollution control.
First launched in 2011, the conference is held biennially with the aim of establishing an international communication platform. This platform facilitates the sharing of the latest technical information on heat and mass transfer issues in the fields of energy conservation and pollution control, as well as the dissemination of high-quality R&D achievements in this domain.
